How it works

Drop in a photo, watch the picture arrive

  1. Pick a photo from your camera roll

    A pet, a place, a person you love. BrushMark only sees the one picture you choose.

  2. We turn it into a paintable grid

    BrushMark finds the subject, keeps faces and eyes intact, and picks a palette that suits the picture.

  3. Tap to fill. No rush, no mess.

    Choose a color, tap a numbered shape, and it fills. Two minutes or two hours, your progress is saved.

Painting without the fiddly part

Most coloring apps hand you a brush and ask you to steady your thumb inside a one-millimeter outline. BrushMark doesn't. Every picture is broken into closed, numbered shapes, so a single tap fills the whole shape in the color you have selected. Tap a shape belonging to another color and nothing happens — a small buzz tells you, and the picture stays exactly as it was.

That makes it work in the places people actually reach for their phone — one-handed, on a couch, in a waiting room, for two minutes at a time.

Your photos stay yours

Made on your iPhone, and it stays there

Choose a picture from your photo library and BrushMark studies it — finding the subject, keeping faces and eyes intact, and working out a palette that suits the picture. What comes back is a numbered canvas: the same photograph, broken into shapes, waiting to be filled in.

All of that happens on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, never sent to a server, and never seen by us — the whole conversion runs on your iPhone or iPad. There are no accounts to create, and BrushMark never asks for access to your whole photo library, only the picture you pick.
